
Steve Patterson spent his first few years of life living in Windom, MN, and when he was 5 years old he moved to Lake City, MN and Graduated from Lincoln HIgh School in Lake City. After High School he got a 2 year Associated Degree in University Studies from RCTC in Rochester and then Transferred to Winona State Where he got a 4 year Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. During his time at Winona State he became a 3 time national qualifier in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association. He was also Captain of the wrestling team as well as Vice President of the wrestling club. Steve Also played several years in the Southern Plains Football League where he was voted an All Star in 2016. Steve worked a variety of jobs in Winona, MN, Grand Rapids, MN, and Rochester, MN in sales and service where he prepared himself to be a business owner. Steve re-opened Lansing Corners in Austin, MN in May of 2021 after it had been vacant post Covid and turned it into a bustling bar and grill where they are known for several activities such as Bingo,Cornhole, and comedy shows where they have hosted comedians such as Tim Meadows, Kevin Farley, Chris Kattan, Joe Machi, Adam Hunter, Rich Vos, and most recently Kat Timpf. Steve is also part owner of a coffee shop in Zumbrota, MN. Steve’s political career was ignited in 2020 when Governor Tim Walz closed several businesses including the brewery Steve never got to open in Rochester due to unreasonable COVID restrictions. In 2022, on a $500 budget Steve won the primary election for the Grassroots Legalize Cannabis Party and took 4th place out of 6 candidates who made it onto the general election ballot. In an effort to represent the common man, Steve and a group of motivated individuals have created the Moderate Majority party, to represent the working class, small businesses, and basic freedoms that have been challenged by other political parties.

Born and raised in Southeastern Minnesota Jerod (JT) Thompson grew up working on farms and giving his all as a three sport athlete in high school. He went on to study Human Biology at Winona State University before joining the US Army and becoming part of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. JT is a combat veteran and received an honorable discharge as an E6/Staff Sergeant. He since has ran three successful businesses while raising his son who is now seeking an MRI Tech certification. JT's leadership capabilities have been tested time and again from the football field to the battlefield. From the classroom to the boardroom. He is more than ready to take on the pandering corrupt politicians that haven't been held accountable for so long
